Local Activities
Our 2011 Troop Support project consisted of the collection and shipment of used paperback books, Audiobooks, Dvd's, and Cd's, to overseas Troops. The collection point was Sea Mart Grocery store. Cick Here And Here for organizations modeling these efforts. Over 700 paperbacks and more than 500 discs were sent. Disc's needed to be originals not copies. As a suggestion for a quick and easy project at one of your next meetings, have members bring a couple Cd's/Dvd's. You should easily collect enough to send a boxful off to a soldier.
